SUNDAY SERMON
The sermon for Sunday, March 3, is on John 2:1-12, and the miracle that Jesus did, turning water into wine. In prep for the sermon, maybe read that passage before the gathering!
PRAY
For the month of March 2024 we will be using a portion of Psalm 103 each day to guide our prayers.
Psalm 103:6-7
The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed.
He made known his ways to Moses,
his acts to the people of Israel. We live in an evil and corrupt world. Thank God today that he is the God of righteousness and justice! Pray for his righteousness and justice to reign where evil abounds.
God revealed himself and his commands to Moses and the people of Israel. Today we have his word that reveals him to us. Ask God to give you a greater love for and understanding of his word.
You can also take some time to lift up these things in prayer:
- Confess your sins
- The Lost
- The Church
- The World
- Your Needs
QUESTIONS FOR FAITH GROUPS
What does Mary’s actions in this passage tell us about what she knew of Jesus?
What did Jesus mean when he said, “My hour has not yet come.”?
