Judges 6-7

Psalm 139

The passage for Sunday, May 19 will be (Lord willing) Philippians 1:1-2. You could read that, and also read all of Philippians to prepare your heart for Sunday and for the summer preaching series.

For the month of May 2024 we will be using passages from the book of Ephesians each day to guide our prayers.

Ephesians 1:20

“that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,”

  • Give praise to God that we have a risen Savior!
  • Thank God for Jesus that is seated at God's right hand interceding for his people. Take whatever burdens are on your heart to him today, knowing that he hears your prayers and will answer them according to his will.
  • Thank God that Jesus reigns "in the heavenly places," and that he is coming again to take his people home to be with him.

You can also take some time bring these things before the Lord.

  • Confess your sins.
  • The Lost
  • Your Needs

  • Why does Paul like the title: servants of Christ Jesus?
  • Who are “saints” and how do we become saints?
  • What is the relationship between grace and peace?
  • Who are the deacons and overseers, and why are they important in the life of the church?
  • What are some ways we can apply the truths in this passage in discipleship, in the home and workplace, and in the church?
