Faith Baptist Youth (6th - 12th Grade)
Our dedicated team of caring adult volunteers works to establish a warm, welcoming environment for students in grades 6 through 12. Our desire is to provide a space where students can learn the gospel with clarity. Students delve into how the gospel impacts their lives, considering the call to trust in Christ as their Lord and Savior and follow him. For those students who have already committed their lives Christ, we are committed to helping them grow as disciples.
Youth Sunday School
Sunday School classes take place during the middle hour (9:55 - 10:50) on the second floor. An elevator is available. Visit the Christian Education desk on the 2nd floor where the Sunday School Superintendent will assist you. Our teachers will eagerly lead your teenage child(ren) in fun, engaging, age-appropriate Bible lessons that will point them to Christ and help them grow in their understanding of the gospel.
Middle School (6th - 8th grade)
Students meet at the end of the hall in room 210.
High School (9th - 12th grade)
Students meet in “The Loft.” Turn left as you come up the stairs and go straight.
Wednesday Night Youth Activities
During the school year Middle and High School students meet in “The Loft” together at 6:30pm for a time of worship with singing and gospel-centered teaching. After the lesson, the students break off into small groups by age and gender with adult leaders to encourage deeper conversation, discipleship and prayer. Youth group concludes at 8:00pm. All youth are required to check in. See “Check-in” below for instructions.
During the summer months the youth continue to meet on Wednesday nights with a modified schedule. Printed calendars will be made available in advance to you and your students in addition to updates posted in the Faith Baptist app (FBFConnect) available on iPhone and Android devices.
Other Youth Activities
While our group gatherings on Sundays and Wednesdays are foundational for teaching, relationship building, and discipling of our youth, there are also many other opportunities for them to grow and be the hands and feet of Jesus. Outside of Sunday and Wednesday gathering there are opportunities for deeper spiritual growth and discipleship through outreach, discipleship, service projects, camps and retreats to help deepen their walk with Christ. Printed monthly calendars of these events will be made available in advance to you and your students in addition to updates posted in the Faith Baptist app (FBFConnect) available on iPhone and Android devices.
Safety
Your child’s safety is important to us. All adult staff and volunteers serving in any capacity with children and youth are background checked and trained. If you have any questions or concerns at any time, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Check-in
Check-in stations are located in the following places around the building:
- The Nursery
- The Resource Center (near the elevator)
- The 2nd Floor Christian Education Desk (near the elevator)
If you are checking in your child(ren) for the first time you will need to register. If you need assistance, please ask one of our volunteers or church staff who will be happy to help.
Once registered in our system simply check in your child(ren) each time at one of the stations. The system will automatically print security tags. Youth (6th - 12th grade) are asked to check in as well but are not required to wear the tag.
