WEEKEND REFLECTION

In God’s sweet providence our readings this week are very much on theme with the sermon this coming Sunday. So perhaps, to prepare you hearts for what we will see in the Gospel of John, read Exodus 12 again on Saturday evening. Answer the following reflection questions: 

1. How does the story of the Passover demonstrate both God’s judgment and his mercy? 
2. How does Exodus 12:13 point to the gospel of Jesus Christ? 
3. Why was the Passover lamb sacrificed?

Take some time to commune with the Lord in prayer using parts of The Lord's Prayer as a model.
