Psalm 84

PRAY

For the month of March 2024 we will be using a portion of Psalm 103 each day to guide our prayers. 

Psalm 103:8-12

The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
He will not always chide,
nor will he keep his anger forever.
He does not deal with us according to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our transgressions from us.

The expression "steadfast love" is one word in the Hebrew that means God's unfailing covenant love. As God cannot fail, so his steadfast love cannot fail. Take some time in prayer today to confess your sins and thank God for the incomprehensible love and mercy he has shown you in Christ Jesus. If you're struggling with sin and assurance ask God to help you in the battle and to strengthen you by the power of his Holy Spirit.
