Born and raised in Freeman SD, Linda is the youngest of 5 siblings. She met her husband, Matt, while attending the University of South Dakota. After graduating, she received her CPA license and worked at Eide Bailly for 12 years. During this time Matt and Linda’s first two sons were born. When the third son arrived, she “retired” from public practice and stayed home to care for their family.
Linda’s faith journey began in her hometown church when, as a young girl, she longed to have a personal relationship with Jesus. One friend’s mother in particular served as an example of daily seeking the Lord and serving others with deep humility. Through a series of many refining moments, her love for the Lord and trust in his perfect plan continues to grow.
Linda has served in several volunteer roles at Faith including the lead Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Sunday School and Wednesday night clubs teacher and vocal roles in the choir and on the Worship team. In 2011, Linda officially came on staff to work with technology and finances.
Blessed to have them all in Sioux Falls, Matt and Linda have three grown sons – Ethan, Ben and Jonah. They recently welcomed a daughter into the family when their son Ben married his wife, Maddi. In her spare time, Linda loves to sing, whistle, cook, read, exercise (especially outdoors!), spend time with family and friends plus travel this amazing world at any opportunity!
