Aaron grew up in Mitchell, SD in a tight-knit family and attended Northridge Baptist Church. He moved to Sioux Falls in 1997 to attend school and married his wife Angela in 2001. Aaron and his wife live on an acreage outside of Sioux Falls with their three kids and two dogs.
Aaron grew up in a Christian home and learned at a young age the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus. With the help of his parents, he prayed to accept Jesus at the age of 5. In 1993 his mom strongly encouraged (forced) him to attend high school camp with the youth group from his church. That week at camp changed his life forever and he dedicated his life to live for Jesus. Little did he know that he would also meet his wife Angela at camp that week.
Aaron has attended Faith Baptist Fellowship since 1997 and has been involved with several different ministries at the church. He served on the Management Team and spent several years as a High School small group leader. Aaron has been the Tech Director at Faith since 2009 and has had the pleasure of working with many volunteers over the years. Aaron and his wife Angela spend part of their summers working with the Converge Heartland District to lead both High School and Middle School camps. Aaron was able to see the impact that camp has on students and God has allowed him to continue to be part of camp every year.
When not working at church or his full-time job at Experity in Sioux Falls, Aaron loves to hunt, tinker with IT and AV gear and be outside as much as possible doing projects around the house. Summers are busy taking kids to baseball and softball games and spending time with family. Aaron loves watching and is used to being disappointed by the Twins and the Vikings every year, but will be a fan for life anyway.
