It’s the Christmas season—so naturally, we’re talking about the doctrine of Hell. In all seriousness, the biblical teaching on eternal, conscious torment has been challenged by some Christians, including in recent days. In this episode, we examine what Scripture actually says and address the claim that the wicked simply cease to exist on Judgment Day. We also consider how a right understanding of Hell magnifies the beauty of the gospel and fuels our urgency in sharing it.
