Preparing for Christmas – Sunday December 22

2013_12_sermon_blog
On Christmas Sunday the 22nd we are really celebrating the extraordinary joy of “Christ Was Born For This!” The morning services will be filled with fantastic music from both our Faith Choir and our Children! You won’t want to miss the children’s singing, under the super direction of Marlea Anderson. But then, neither will you want to miss Emily Danger conducting our Faith Choir. In addition to all the sounds of joy, a fine reception will be offered in the Fellowship Hall, with treats for all. Then adults will be invited to “sit a spell” and hear the testimony of Deric Sneller and Rebecca as they share the story of their call overseas with Cadence, a ministry to military personnel. Deric is a product of our youth ministry, and the son of Bob and Janelle, so it will be exciting to hear of the Spirit’s move in their lives to do this. (Many will recall praying for Deric when he was deployed as a U.S. Army chaplain to Afghanistan.) #WhataSunday! #Don’tMissIt!
