For the month of June 2024, we will be using meditations on Psalm 23:1-2 for our prayer guide each day. 

"He leads me beside still waters."

“He” – Meditate upon the reality that it is the LORD who is acting in these verses. All that is being done and supplied for in your life comes from his good hand.  

“leads me” – Meditate upon God’s good direction in your life. As a shepherd leads his sheep, so the Lord leads you with gentleness, love, and care.   

“beside still waters.” – Meditate again upon the abundance of God’s goodness in your life. As the Lord feeds you in his “green pastures,” so also, he quenches your thirst with “still waters.” Remember how Jesus said in John 6:35, “I am the bread that gives life. No one who comes to me will ever be hungry. No one who believes in me will ever be thirsty.” 

You can also take some time bring these things before the Lord. 

• Confess your sins. 
• The Lost 
• Your Needs
