The sermon for Sunday, July 7, is on Philippians 2:19-20. Read this passage as you prepare for the preaching of the Word during the worship gathering.

For the month of June 2024, we will be using meditations on Psalm 23:1-2 for our prayer guide each day.  

“for his name’s sake.” – Meditate upon God’s glory. He does all things for the glory of his name that you may delight in him. As John Piper says, “God is most glorified in us, when we are most satisfied in him.”

• How should we apply this passage?
• How do the examples of others encourage us in our walk of faith?
• What kind of men are we to “honor” in this passage, and what does that practically mean?
